Federal Volunteer Service at ProVeg Incubator (m/f/d)

ProVeg Incubator is the world’s leading Incubator of plant-based and cultured food startups. Our 50+ alumni startups come from all over the world and have now raised over €30 million and launched more than 40 products. You will work closely with a diverse team to support promising plant-based and cellular agriculture startups to grow successfully. The role varies, extending beyond the key tasks below to include whatever is required for this ambitious endeavor.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and administer community activities, workshops and other services for the startups at ProVeg Incubator

- Actively engage with founders from all over the world

- Assist programme management and organization at the incubator

- Develop and maintain company and other contact databases

- Carry out market research, surveys and document metrics which measure incubator and startup performance

- Support incubator channels of communication, documents, and databases

- Support event management

- Support the incubator team by taking on varied projects tasks when needed

Qualifications:

Required:

- Experience in a support role; great team player.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Flexibility, ability to adapt to new tasks quickly and easily.

- Readiness to learn and gain a comprehensive understanding of the food industry as well as the startup ecosystem.

- Well organised and detail-oriented.

- Strong work ethic.

- Care passionately about the aims of the organisation.

Preferred:

- Interest and experience in the startup sector.

- Interest and experience in non-profit organisations.

- Fluency in both German and English.
